Jason "Jake" Barnett
Job Title: Owner, Pharmacist, Compounding Pharmacist
Jake is the owner and head pharmacist at Professional Pharmacy. Jake has worked at Professional Pharmacy for 25 years and has had full ownership for 8 years.
As owner, Jake oversees all daily functions and decisions related to Professional Pharmacy. As a pharmacist, Jake is trained to store, handle, prepare, and dispense various medications, playing an essential role in educating patients about using or administering their medications. Likewise, he serves as a “final check” to ensure that doses are correct and decrease the chances of a patient experiencing negative or harmful drug interactions. Additionally, Jake is trained and certified to compound specialty medications that we make in house.
Dusty Pruett
Job Title: Pharmacist, Compounding Pharmacist
Dusty has been with Professional Pharmacy for 18 years. Her previous pharmacy experience includes 6 years with Walmart after graduating from Samford University McWhorter School of Pharmacy.
As a pharmacist, Dusty is trained to store, handle, prepare, and dispense various medications, playing an essential role in educating patients about using or administering their medications. Likewise, she serves as a “final check” to ensure that doses are correct and decrease the chances of a patient experiencing negative or harmful drug interactions. Additionally, Dusty is trained and certified to compound specialty medications that we make in house.
Jill Scoles
Job Title: Pharmacist
Jill is a Samford University McWhorter School of Pharmacy graduate and has been with Professional Pharmacy for 8.5 years. Her previous pharmacy experience includes Vickers Pharmacy, CVS (2 years after graduation), and Son’s Pharmacy (7 years) in Jasper, AL.
As a pharmacist, Jill is trained to store, handle, prepare, and dispense various medications, playing an essential role in educating patients about using or administering their medications. Likewise, she serves as a “final check” to ensure that doses are correct and decrease the chances of a patient experiencing negative or harmful drug interactions.
Jordan Conner
Job Title: Pharmacy Intern
Jordan is a pharmacy intern currently finishing her fourth year of pharmacy school at Auburn University Harrison College of Pharmacy. She has been with Professional Pharmacy for 5 years.
As an intern, Jordan is trained to store, handle, and prepare various medications, playing an essential role in educating patients about using or administering their medications.

Jessica Hulsey

Jessica has been with Professional Pharmacy for 1 year.

Joseph Rigsby

Joseph has been with Professional for 4 years. His previous pharmacy experience includes Shoppers Drug Mart and After Hours Pharmacy in Jasper, AL.
Joseph’s responsibilities include overseeing and fulfilling our Medication Synchronization program, drive thru window, medication data entry, maintaining inventory, preparing and dispensing medications, fulfilling medication refill requests, and maintaining patient records.

Charlotte Waid

Charlotte has been with Professional Pharmacy for 21 years.
Charlotte’s responsibilities include medication data entry, maintaining inventory, preparing and dispensing medications, fulfilling medication refill requests, and maintaining patient records. A couple of Charlotte’s accomplishments include her continued loyalty to Professional Pharmacy for the past 21 years and being certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board since 2005.
